Every time I visit Michael
Peroutka's Presidential website, I get excited.
One of the reasons why I am so delighted about this candidacy is because
Mr. Peroutka is making a genuine spirited effort not only to win the Presidency of the
United States of America, but also to promote the Constitution Party itself and its
principles! *
Nothing is worse than a self-seeking candidate, and Mr. Peroutka is
anything but that.
He understands very well that our goal of restoring Constitutionalism to
government can only come to fruition by a political vehicle such as the Constitution Party
- a party loyal to principle above politics.
A one-time flash-in-the-pan candidate on an ego trip will never restore
our Republic.
Everywhere I look on his campaign headquarters at www.Peroutka2004.com , there are positive things
being said about the Constitution Party *, its principles, its leaders, its supporters, and
its objectives. The site not only promotes Peroutka the man, but it also promotes
the party that Peroutka is helping to build, and of course the principles that the party
wishes to restore.
Those who rationalize that it is a "waste of time" for a third
party to run a candidate for President instead of merely focusing on local elections
simply do not realize that a well run campaign like Peroutka's has the potential to bring
in tremendous amounts of new supporters and activists into the party all over the nation.
Especially in this day and age where the internet provides third parties
with a level playing field with regard to publishing our message to a wide audience, it
would be folly to ignore the marketing potential that the internet provides. Whereas the
two major parties possess a virtual monopoly on the mainstream media, suffocating all
other competitors from even remotely getting their message out, the internet represents
the last great bastion of inexpensive information exchange.
The world wide web is today's wild, wild west for the free flow
of ideas.
Michael Peroutka understands this, and he isn't too proud to exploit it.
In fact, knowing that it would not be wise to spend all of its resources
trying to get its foot in the door with regard to mainstream media outlets that are
controlled by the two-party establishment, the Peroutka campaign has committed itself to
gunslinging its message through alternative media and other outlets, most particularly the
internet.
It has wisely made the internet its Number One weapon in its arsenal.
If there will ever be a way that the Constitution Party* and its candidates
restore our nation to those glorious principles of yesteryear, then it will be by the
stewardship of God-given gifts of the technology of tomorrow.
Let us pray that the Lord Jesus Christ blesses the Peroutka for President
campaign and uses it in such a way to bring Glory to His Name, and to build up within the
Constitution Party* an army of servants loyal to God, Family and the Republic.
